More About Kristen
Hello! My name is Kristen, and I am a Financial Planner with SLP Wealth, and a practicing Chiropractor. I graduated from Gannon University with a bachelor’s degree in biology. After spending the next year working (and snowboarding!) in the Colorado Rockies, I decided I needed to settle on a career path. Chiropractic seemed like a great fit, and I started at New York Chiropractic College.
After graduation, I lived in NJ and worked as an associate Chiropractor for a bit, then settled in Rochester, NY, where I still have a Chiropractic office. Over the years, I taught at Finger Lakes Community College and St. John Fisher College, teaching Anatomy and Physiology, really enjoying helping students learn about the body.
After 15 years in practice, I started to realize that finance was another area of interest for me. I worked part-time in Operations for a small financial planning firm in Rochester. I was hooked! I loved helping people find their financial footing.
In 2023, I started at Student Loan Planner as a Student Loan Consultant. I quickly realized the staggering amounts of student loan debt that healthcare workers have…. especially Chiropractors. I’m committed to helping Chiropractic students and graduates find their way to a solid financial future. My goal is to help provide some guidance and clarity when you may feel like you are drowning in student loan debt. There is so much freedom to be had after seeing a clear path through.
I hope to help Chiropractors find that path and chart a course to a solid financial future!
In my free time, I love to hike and travel with my daughter, son and husband. We also have an adorable Lab/Chihuahua mix pup that keeps us on our toes.
