Cason Carbaugh, Accredited Asset Management Specialist℠ (AAMS®)

Cason is an Investment Paraplanner and Tax Associate at SLP Wealth. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Management from South Georgia State College and is currently completing his Master’s in Financial Planning at the University of Georgia. Before transitioning into financial planning and tax work, he began his career in banking, where he developed a passion for helping clients navigate important financial decisions.

He enjoys helping clients simplify complex financial situations and supporting them through the implementation side of financial planning. Having personally seen the ramifications poor financial planning can have on families is what motivates him to help others make more confident financial decisions. His long-term goals include obtaining his CFP® certification and EA designation while continuing to grow into a planner role with the firm.

Outside of work, Cason enjoys writing music, playing piano, and spending time outdoors on long walks. He also enjoys traveling the country with his wife, Leigahnne, who is currently a dental student.
